Our Mission
At For The Joys we offer two perspectives. From different stages of life, we hope to inspire and encourage women of all ages to find joy and hope in the Lord. From dreams, disappointments and a multitude of blunders, we share our stories through humor and authenticity.
Meet the authors
Micah
I grew up in a small town in Arkansas where I married my high school sweetheart whom I met at the age of 13. We recently celebrated 7 years of marriage and have two small puppers named Lucy and Tucker. My husband and I enjoy many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, disc golf, fishing, and gardening. We also both serve in our local church worship team and co-lead small groups. I have many passions that the Lord has given me and am so excited to share them with you!
Carol
Being from the hilly part of the state of central Arkansas, I grew up a total country girl. The hallmarks of my life have been church musician, school teacher, and wife of one.
Tim and I have been married over thirty-five years. He knows me best and still loves me to my utter amazement!
Currently, my greatest passion is gardening. I like to nourish and help things grow!
My desire is to encourage and inspire women of all ages and stages of life through my writing.
